PT in Pandemic COVID19
Physical Therapists work in many different settings and have different hurdles in handling this pandemic of COVID19. All these settings potentially contribute to reducing the workload of hospitals; the role of the physical therapists in each setting may differ. Physical Therapists often have direct contact with patients, which make them susceptible to the transmission of infectious diseases. It is known that patients that are hospitalized receive limited therapy services with the primary goal to maintain mobility is crucial for overall recovery.
